Half the Fun is Getting There!

It's true! Half the fun is getting to Bald Head Island. Once you have driven to the island using a set of the directions listed below, you get to ride on a 15-minute ferry ride over to the island! Tickets for the ferry are around $20 per person, round trip, and include transportation to your final destination once you get to the island.

If you can, carry your bag(s) onto the ferry to avoid having to tip the ferry staff :) Once you unload your bags, and purchase your tickets you will need to park your car in a vacant space in one of the parking lots and then walk back over to the ferry! While you wait for the ferry to pull in you can sit on the huge deck at the marina and watch the boats coming in and out while enjoying the beautiful weather I KNOW (please please please!) we will be having that weekend :)
