As of 7:30 last night we are officially going to Kenya! We will be leaving on March 14th at 7:10 p.m., from the JFK airport in NY, & will be returning on September 12th at 1:35 p.m.. Though the total travel time will be around 20 hours per flight, we could not be more excited to have the date set. :)
We went for our first rounds of shots last Monday & still have one more round to do.
We are about halfway there on the fundraising, so we still need prayers for that. Fundraising has been such a humbling experience. It has been so amazing to see how God has had His hand on this process. In an effort to continue fundraising we will be having a yard sale next Saturday, February 4th, from 7:00 a.m. until everything is gone. In addition, we will be having a craft fair on one of the weekends to follow.
